Mayor Daley's gettin' goofy

He's usually pretty level-headed, but one thing that turns him dumb is gun-control:

"The sad comment is when you see some of the candidates going into a gun show and they think that's machoism. Someone walks into a gun show and says, 'Oh boy. I'm here watching people buy all types of guns and see all types of guns and ammunition,' " Daley said.

As a South Side guy he apparently doesn't understand that someone who goes to a gun show isn't the type of guy who shoots cops. Those that do would be criminals, Mr. Mayor, and they don't buy guns legally.
